About our Jumping Clay Classes  

 

JumpingCLAY model making is the perfect medium for budding young art enthusiasts to use.  It is mess free and non-toxic.  Our lessons teach shape, proportion, spatial awareness, colour mixing, texture awareness whilst improving finger and hand dexterity.  All these activities have been shown to support brain development which in turn enhances Maths and Science understanding.

From birthday parties to school workshops, our studio is a haven for young minds to unleash their imagination. Our team is dedicated to providing a safe and nurturing space for your child's artistic journey. Here are some of our classes and course:

1. After School Clubs in your School:
We deliver After School Clubs in over 20 schools in Derbyshire and during term time (blocks of 4-7 weeks) on a specific theme and bring along our talented team of instructors and all the materials that the children need.

2. STEM sessions using Jumping Clay 
We can create a topic to suit your curriculum or to encourage pupils to explore STEM subjects in an engaging and creative way.

3. In-class activities with Jumping Clay

Discover the joy of hands-on creativity with our in-class JumpingCLAY model-making sessions! Our engaging lessons teach shape, proportion, spatial awareness, colour mixing, and texture, all while enhancing fine motor skills. Plus, these activities support brain development, boosting math and science understanding in a fun and interactive way.

3. Weekend Workshops in Markeaton Park

Each weekend we run 1 hour long workshops on topics that are announced through our Facebook page every week. For the little ones we also offer the mini make options! See booking system above!

4. Birthday Parties

Celebrate your Birthday party with us, prices starting from £10 per child minimum number is 8 participants. Food options available via derby@jumpingclay.co.uk. You can download the party brochure here!

5. Handprints

Our amazing clay allows us to create stunning handprints which you can take home on the day. We are excited to be part of the Lots for Tots show on the 22nd of March at the Mickleover hotel! Where we will be offering on the day baby hand and footprints with personalisation!!!​​​
